Jérémy Wion, a pastry chef by training, decided five years ago to start a new adventure by becoming the manager of a foodtruck specializing in artisanal burgers. Le Chaudron has been a great success since its beginnings and travels all over the Landes so that everyone can enjoy its home-made creations. Between Bougue, Benquet, Saint-Pierre-du-Mont and Laglorieuse, it has become a real reference.
His trademark? To propose quality local products in all simplicity.
The company is a leader in the field of the local market.
And precisely, the recipe for the Chef's Burger often changes depending on the availability of ingredients and the seasons. To remain in this approach both responsible and in the loop, Le Chaudron does not hesitate to surf on trends, especially if it has everything to gain.
Indeed, the CBD market is booming and it is quite naturally that Jeremy Wion had the idea to launch his brand new original burger based on CBD, a non-psychotropic molecule of cannabis. He then conducted numerous tests with cannabidiol in order to create the perfect burger, just as he had imagined it. His goal? To come out with a product that is pleasant to the mouth, with calming and anti-stress properties, while tasting like a flower.
However, taming CBD was not so simple and it took some ingenuity. After trying to use CBD oil and then just the flower, Jeremy Wio finally opted for a solution that turned out to be a success... He infused the flowers in oil before making them into mayonnaise.
The Chef's Burger made with OG Kush CBD will be available from next Tuesday and for a fortnight, until mid-September, for the modest sum of 8.90 euros. Do not miss it and make your neighbor turn!
