Ingredients for a CBD apple pie (6 to 8 slices)
No need to break the bank. This is a simple version that we offer you:
- 1 ready-to-use or homemade shortcrust pastry for a crispy tart base;
- 4 to 5 apples, Golden or Granny Smith type, for a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity;
- 30 ml of CBD oil, ideally type full spectrum;
- 100 g of sugar, to sprinkle and lightly caramelize the apples;
- 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon, to enhance the taste of the apples;
- 1 beaten egg, to brown the pie crust;
- A little butter to grease the mold;
- A few flaked almonds or pieces of walnuts to add a crunchy note.
Preparing CBD apple pie
Preheat the oven to 180° C. Carefully spread the shortcrust pastry into a previously buttered tart tin, making sure to press the pastry into the corners and edges to prevent it from shrinking during baking. .
Use a fork to make small holes in the bottom of the dough. The aim here is to prevent it from swelling during cooking.
Then peel the apples, remove the cores and seeds then slice them thinly so that they cook evenly. In a large bowl, combine the apple slices with the CBD oil. It’s the secret to a soothing and relaxing dessert! CBD oil will also add a little organic note and character to your apple pie.

Add the sugar and cinnamon to the apples then mix gently so that the slices are well coated. We are looking for a deep and rich flavor here but also a slight caramelization of the apples during cooking.
Distribute the coated apples evenly over the tart base. For a more aesthetic look, you can arrange them in a spiral or in superimposed rows. We also seek pleasure for the eyes!
Before baking, lightly beat an egg and, using a kitchen brush, brush the surface of the tart. This will give the dough a nice golden color and a shiny appearance when cooked. For a crunchy and tasty final touch, sprinkle flaked almonds or walnut pieceson top.
Put the tart in the preheated oven and let it cook for 35 to 40 minutes. The tart will be ready when the dough is golden brown and the apples are tender. Check the cooking by inserting the tip of a knife into the apples: it should come out without resistance.
Let the tart cool slightly before serving. It is ideally enjoyed warm to fully enjoy the aromas of apples, cinnamon and the subtle earthy notes of good CBD!
