- 20 ml of quality CBD oil;
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar;
- 1 teaspoon of salt;
- The juice of 1 lemon.
CBD hot sauce: let's get ready!
Select fresh peppers based on your heat tolerance and taste preferences: jalapeños for (relatively) moderate heat, or habaneros to increase the intensity.
Caution When handling chili peppers, remember to wear gloves to avoid any skin irritation. Do not touch your eyes during preparation. |
Start the preparation by roughly chopping the peppers and garlic cloves. In a saucepan, combine them with the cider vinegar. We are trying here to provide a tangy base to soften the heat of the peppers and preserve the sauce.
Next, add the brown sugar and a pinch of salt to balance the acidity and heat of the chili peppers. You will thus obtain a complex and flavorful sauce. It will have cachet and character! Once the base of your sauce is ready and slightly cooled, add the CBD oil. Mix well to ensure even distribution of the cannabidiol in your sauce.
To know The addition of CBD oil is done after cooking to preserve its soothing, analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties, but also to consolidate its organic aromatic profile. |
Use an immersion blender or blender to blend the sauce until smooth or slightly textured, depending on your preference. Transfer the sauce to sterilized bottles or jars. Store refrigerated to maintain freshness and flavor integrity.
Let the sauce sit for a few days before eating, as this time allows the flavors to fully develop. It will enhance a vegetarian pizza, a shredded chicken taco, a vegan burger, a cold noodle salad or even a grilled fish!
