Choose the right container for your CBD flower
Opt for an airtight tinted glass container. This type of container is essential for CBD consumers, as it limits exposure to air and light, two factors that can degrade the quality of the flower.
Make sure the container is just large enough for the amount of CBD flower you want to keep to minimize empty space that could allow oxygen to build up. Our advice: Store your CBD flower in an amber glass jar with a silicone seal. It is both waterproof and can block UV rays.
Be careful with the storage temperature
Your airtight tinted glass jar can also protect the CBD flower from temperature variations. We recommend a stable storage temperature, around 21°C, to avoid the degradation of cannabinoids and terpenes.
Avoid places subject to temperature changes (near a window, near a household appliance, etc.). The freshness of your CBD flower depends on it!
Humidity: aim for less than 63%
To keep humidity in the ideal range, i.e. between 60 and 63%, use a humidity regulating sachet that contains a mixture of salt and water enclosed in a bidirectional membrane that regulates relative humidity inside the container.
Simply place the sachet in the jar with the CBD flower. If humidity exceeds the desired level, the salt will absorb the excess to maintain a dry environment. Conversely, if the humidity is too low, the sachet will release water to increase the humidity.
Light, enemy of the hemp plant
Light, particularly UV rays, will accelerate the degradation of the cannabinoids and terpenes contained in the CBD flower. It should therefore be stored in a dark place, such as a cupboard or drawer away from direct sunlight.
If you use a clear jar, make sure it is stored in a completely darkened space or wrap the container in an opaque material to block any exposure to light.
