What is VMAC, concretely?
As its name suggests, Various Active Cannabinoids, or VMAC, is not a molecule strictly speaking, like HHC was. Rather, it is a mixture of several cannabinoids found in the hemp plant or synthesized in the laboratory:
- Natural cannabinoids extracted from the Cannabis L. Sativa strain, such as CBD, CBN, CBG, and CBC;
- Semi-synthetic cannabinoids like THCP, HHCO, and H4CBD.
The VMAC does not contain THC beyond what is authorized in France, that is to say less than 0.3%.
VMAC: more powerful effects than CBD… but at what price?
Obviously, given its recency, VMAC has not been the subject of scientific studies. But according to consumer feedback, it is more powerful than CBD, both in terms of soothing and analgesic effects (against pain).
This observation makes sense, as VMAC mixes several different cannabinoids and thus promotes the "entourage effect", whereby cannabinoids are more effective when consumed collectively.
In short, consuming VMAC is like taking full spectrum CBD oil … except that with the latter, the product is known, 100% traceable and safer.
What is 321CBD's position vis-à-vis VMAC?
In accordance with our ethical charter, 321CBD has chosen not to offer of VMAC-based products, because the effects of this cannabinoid mixture are not sufficiently studied and are mainly based on consumer testimonials.
In addition, VMAC is in an ambiguous legal area, since it includes molecules close to HHC, which could be regulated or banned in the more or less near future.
