The global wellness market: CBD is becoming indispensable
According to a study by Vantage Market Research, the value of the CBD market was of $4.9 billion in 2021 and is expected to reach over $47 billion by 2028, with an annual growth rate of 21.3%.
This rapid growth can be explained by more flexible legislation in several Western countries, notably in the European Union and North America, but also by the gradual diversification of the market with the appearance of new CBD wellness products.
According to a report from Data Bridge Market Research, the global market for CBD skincare products such as oils, capsules and creams, have posted a double-digit annual growth rate (+21%) since 2020 and are expected to continue their momentum until at least 2027.
These products are particularly popular for their relaxing properties, their anti-inflammatory properties and their pain-relieving effects.
Well-being with CBD: what products to improve your quality of life?
While experienced consumers generally prefer to vaporize well-concentrated CBD flowers, the general public generally prefers more practical and fun formats, including:
- CBD oils, quickly assimilated by sublingual absorption (under the tongue). They are used to improve sleep, relieve chronic pain and neutralize daily stress;
- CBD capsules: like oils, capsules act against anxiety and stress, but they allow a slower and more even release of CBD. This format is interesting for consumers who suffer from mild stress or low-intensity pain;
- CBD creams and balms: used directly on the skin, when applied topically, these products are effective against muscle pain, inflammation and skin irritation. They are used in particular by athletes to accelerate muscle recovery.
You can also opt for a CBD massage oil to relax your muscles, relieve joint tension and hydrate your skin.
