Silver Haze is a balanced hybrid strain (50% Cannabis L. Sativa and 50% Cannabis Indica) which owes its name to its buds covered with frosted trichomes of a beautiful silver hue.
Born in 1989 in the Netherlands (of course), Silver Haze is an iconic strain in the world of cannabis. The creators at Sensi Seeds crossed an original Haze with a Northern Lights #5 and a Skunk to obtain a fast-flowering hemp plant while preserving the characteristic effects of Haze.
Result: a Sativa-dominant hybrid that grows faster and produces denser flowers than its ancestors. This new strain revolutionized cannabis cultivation in Europe because growers had difficulty growing pure Haze, which took too long to flower in our climates. Silver Haze quickly established itself as a benchmark, winning the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1998 and 1999.
Our Silver Haze CBD brings you an exceptional CBD content: 21.2%, making it one of the most powerful flowers on the market.
At 321CBD, the quality and safety of our products are our top priority. This is why each batch of our Silver Haze CBD is rigorously analyzed by an independent French laboratory to guarantee the absence of contaminants (pesticides, heavy metals, mold), validate the high CBD content and ensure that the THC is well below 0.3%, in accordance with current law.
Grown in a greenhouse (Greenhouse) by our partner farmers in Liguria, in the northwest of Italy, the Silver Haze that we offer you benefits from an optimal microclimate: a sea breeze that naturally regulates humidity, generous but temperate sunshine and a soil particularly rich in nutrients.
These growing factors contribute to the potency of the flower and the presence of complex terpenes that give taste and flavor to this legendary cannabis variety.
Greenhouse growing combines the advantages of indoor growing, which allows you to control all the variables of growth, with the benefits of outdoor growing, which allows you to take advantage of the sun and the soil.
But what does our Silver Haze look like? First of all, you should know that this is a particularly photogenic variety. Here's what we'll explain:
All CBD regulars must have some Silver Haze, whether as a regular flower or in rotation. This dosed flower has a history, a terroir, and a special place in the pop culture of legal hemp!
Take the Silver Haze between your fingers. Do you feel this density? It's the sign of a very mature flower. But it's not hard for all that. There is a certain elasticity, a sort of flexible resistance, sign of a flower full of trichomes!
Its scent? Lemon is the dominant flavor, that's undeniable. But behind these citrus notes, you have a beautiful bouquet that gradually reveals itself: woody, a bit like a walk in the forest. And spices, subtle but very present.
Whether you choose to infuse it or vaporize it, Silver Haze has a response: first tangy puff, then notes of pine, a slight bitterness reminiscent of grapefruit and woody touches that feel good.
Despite its power, and unlike some varieties that can seem heavy or overwhelming, Silver Haze retains a certain lightness. It's an invigorating experience, like a summer breeze loaded with citrus aromas!
Silver Haze CBD is a flower with character and style. But what effects can you expect from consuming it?
Our customers say that Silver Haze clears their minds. It's like it's dusting off your brain! You feel more alert, more focused. Ideas flow, creativity is unlocked. If you have a project that's stalling or a problem to solve, Silver Haze will do you good.
Energy-wise, it's a bit like a good espresso. It gives you energy, it motivates you. You feel ready to face your day or to embark on an activity that requires energy.
But be careful, this is not the flower that will turn you into a lively battery either. Silver Haze also has its Zen side. It helps to relieve stress, to take a step back. It's a bit like the best of both worlds: you are dynamic but not stressed, relaxed but not slumped.
Silver Haze also tends to relax muscles, relieve small tensions and soothe joint stiffness. You are more flexible, lighter. It's pleasant after a busy day or a slightly too intense sports session.
And all this lasts. With its high CBD content, Silver Haze is not a flash in the pan. The effects are felt for a good while.
Vaporization is the best way to get the most out of the lemony aromas of Silver Haze… with the added bonus of ultra-fast effects, in just fifteen minutes.
Set your vaporizer between 180°C and 210°C. Start low and gradually increase the temperature to explore the full aromatic palette of this cannabis variety. At low temperatures, you are on the refreshing lemony notes characteristic of Silver Haze. As you climb, you will release the more earthy and spicy notes.
Feel free to play with the size of the buds: finely ground, the Silver Haze will release its aromas more quickly for a short and intense session. In larger pieces, you will prolong the experience to savor the different nuances of this complex Haze.
Like all hemp flowers with citrus notes, the Silver Haze is particularly well suited to infusion. Heat water to 90°C (not hotter, to preserve the terpenes). Add one gram of finely crumbled Silver Haze (not ground) to 250 ml of water. Let it steep for 5 to 7 minutes, no more, to avoid bitterness.
To enhance the natural aromas of Silver Haze, add a zest of fresh lemon and a pinch of grated ginger. It's the perfect infusion to start the day off right or for a mid-afternoon boost, just after lunch. The effects will be milder and more gradual than with vaporization.
The taste of Silver Haze pairs well with fresh herbs and citrus fruits. Try this revisited pesto: mix fresh basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, parmesan with a drizzle of olive oil in which you have previously infused 2 grams of finely crushed Silver Haze (gently heat the oil with the flower for 30 minutes, then filter).
Add the zest of a lemon to amplify the citrus notes of the Silver Haze. This Haze pesto will bring freshness to your pasta and summer salads. The effects will be more subtle but prolonged.
Forget the plastic bag. It's your Haze's number one enemy. Instead, opt for a tinted glass jar that will block UV rays. Ideally, opt for a jar with a rubber seal for an airtight seal. Air is the other problematic variable, because it dries out and degrades your flowers.
The ideal temperature? Between 18 and 21°C. Any warmer and you risk mold growth. Any colder and you alter the CBD-rich trichomes. As for humidity, aim for 58 - 62%. Too dry and your terpenes evaporate. Too humid and fungi risk taking over! You can use humidity regulating bags if necessary.
Store your jar in a cool, dark cupboard. Light is the third enemy of your hemp flowers, especially when they are powerful.
