We use hemp from our own organic farm in the sunny Burgenland region of Austria for our soothing hemp tea. The plants are gently harvested, dried and finely sorted. We cultivate our fields organically, without herbicides or pesticides.
Preparation: To allow the leaves to release their full aroma, pour hot water over 1-2 teaspoons and let the tea steep for about 6 minutes. Our hemp tea has a pleasantly sweet and slightly fruity taste. If the hemp leaves are brewed only briefly, the tea is perfect for a caffeine-free morning pick-me-up. With a brewing time of 10 minutes or more, the tea is best enjoyed as a "good night" drink after a stressful day.
Information: The longer the tea brews, the more bitter substances are released. Sweeten with honey to taste.
